Network Monitoring

  Network monitoring seems to be a hot topic for some and looking into some of the web applications that are available is mind boggling.  I found this site that has tons of network monitoring tools, software and debugging applications.  Here are a few of the LAN and WAN tools I found-ace live netflow, ace live voip monitoring, aggregate network manager, apparent networks, ascdic, cisco's network monitoring tools, dumeter, ebox, eze bsitemonitoring, fing, gnms, hounddog, justsniffer, netprefect, netquest opticop, converger, network tools, opnet panorama, orion application performance monitor, orion netflow traffic analysis, and on and on it goes.

    Then there is a list of demos and utility applications like what is my IP address/traceroute, what is my IP address, OS, browser, visual traceroute, where am I, DNS lookup, pingworld, interactive pingER map, pingER internet performance, calculate latency, estimate bandwidth, well you get the idea.  I'm not endorsing these sites just passing on some hopefully good and useful information.  Also check out my web links for more opportunities!

Web Business Ideas

  I, as always, am looking to learn how to do web business but more IMPORTANTLY understand how to do it.  This guy seems to know what he's TALKING about-just click the title bar and it will take you to You Tube video.  As I said before, I don't know very much about this but I will keep trying to improve myself and hopefully gain income while doing it.  I don't know about anyone else but I'm having a tough time figuring out the ad sense ad placement and how to track it.  If anyone has some "baby step" suggestions I would greatly appreciate any help.  If you check out my "web links" on the side of the page and let me know if you have had any experience with these sites I again would thank you. 
  Myself, I understand that web businesses cost money to set up and run, can't understand why most of these sites say 'free' until they already have you email, name and address and then hit you with a "you get all this for only $47.00".  Personally that REALLY sets me off but I assume that is how its done in the web world of biz today.  The last thing to mention is the social networking we do today.  Myself I am in no way ready for the way we talk and do business in the 20th. century.  I like the one on one, face to face approach personally.  Again these are just my thoughts on the matter and add any comments that you like.  Until next time I write, HAVE A GOOD DAY!  P.P.S. The world of internet selling-what to do?

Being that I'm new to this we are going to stumble through this and see if we can make this work.  Learn as I go, and with your help, maybe I'll learn how to do this in the coming months.  Comments and ideas for a novice are apprectiated.  As with most folks out here in the blog world I think we are all looking to make that ellusive buck and , to me at least, it's not as easy as "they" are saying.  First you have to have a product or service to sell, second, it needs to be something thats 'hot' new or what ppl want.  Third, you have to generate traffic to the site, and how do you do that??  Well, "they" want you to pay for it through their site or mlm partner.  That all well and good but that costs $$$$$.  Not all of us out here have hundreds of dollars to throw into their pockets.  As i keep looking for ideas I stumbled across this video on you tube.  Not that I'm promoting this guy, to me he's making a good point.  Just click the title and it will take you to the video.
